Hi and welcome to petewatson.com! Hopefully you will take the time to check out my music, videos and comedy pictures as there is plenty of content to be found. You can read my biography by clicking the link below, but if you're here for music rather than reading, then all you need to know is that I'm a Pianist/Producer crossed with a Composer and Arranger, who has been known to dabble in Programming and Musical Direction! I've had experience in most modern styles of music, but I specialise in Rnb/Soul/Jazz/Pop genres. I play with anyone/anywhere that asks nicely (sometimes even if they don't!) from big name touring artists to corporate function gigs - I love to play and do it as much as possible! Enjoy the site and please sign the guestbook if you have time :)

Autumn 2009
This month I have been working with Tinchy Stryder on his upcoming UK tour. Whilst his tour is a DJ set I was in rehearsals working on the programming and setting up of the playback for the shows.

His tour is in full flow and apparently going great - you can get tickets from here if you fancy it!

Autumn 2009
Last week I was up very (very very!) early to do GMTV with Taio Cruz for his new single Break Your Heart....it is now gone to Number 1 and will hopefully be a good sign for the rest of his album.

We should be starting rehearsals next week with the live band for future promotional dates coming up this year...watch this space!

You can watch the GMTV performance here for a limited period...enjoy!

Summer 2009
Last week I appeared onthe Radio 1 Live Lounge with Calvin Harris who is busy promoting his next single (Ready for the Weekend) and we threw in a cheeky cover of Kasabian's 'Fire.' As well as Calvin, there were additional vocals from the amazing Mary Pearce how you can check out here. If you want to watch the Live Lounge session video whilst it's still online then click this link!

Summer 2009
Happy to be back with synths everywhere I have recently been doing some gigs and festivals with new Electro/Dance artist FrankMusik. His new album just went in at 13 so hopefully you will hear him for some time to come. FrankMusik also does alot of remixes including Keane and Pet Shop Boys so keep an ear out!

Check out his website here...

Summer 2009
Most of 2009 and has been spent getting accustomed to life down in London and a very busy tour with the Official Drifters. With hits including Stand By Me, Up On the Roof and Under the Boardwalk amoung a wealth of other great songs it really is a pleasure to be a part of the latest lineup. A new album is ready for release in September 2009 including both new tracks and a few well known covers. We are touring the whole country so if you get the chance come and catch a local show! You can check out their official site here.

Summer 2008
I will be going back to the mud hell that is V Festival this August playing for Sia Furler from Zero 7. Sia has her own solo career outside of Zero 7 and released her new studio album at the start of the year. Musically it is amazing and the band has such a great vibe - really can't wait! Sia and her band are all based out of New York so it's nice to work with a different network of musicians

Spring 2008
I recently came back from Ukraine (Kiev) with the great vocalist and songwriter Skye Edwards who for many years fronted the Britist chillout band Morcheeba. We appeared at a large festival there in an airfield of all places (you can see some picture in my gallery) and played tracks both from Skye's first solo album "Mind How You Go," plus unreleased tracks of her upcoming album due out later this year. Skye also performs a few classic Morhceeba tracks including The Sea, Otherwise and Blindfold. We will be travelling to sunny Barcelona in July for a festival - somebody has to do these gigs in rubbish weather ;)

You can visit Skye's website here or click the photo on the right. Skye is planning to tour more towards the end of the year to promote the new album!

Winter 2007
Winter will truly be freezing this year as I will be travelling to the far reaches of Eastern Europe and Russia with the awesome Vanessa Mae. We travel to Riga (Latvia) in early December and to Moscow nearer to Christmas, managing to pop by in Vilnuis (Lithuania) in between! Last time I was in Moscow it was -20C so I'm hoping that they will have a sudden heatwave and I can take my shorts and sunglasses...somehow I think not.

You can visit Vanessa Mae's website here or click the photo on the right. Her new album "Choreography" is out now!

Winter 2007
In contrast to the freezing depths of Eastern Europe with Vanessa, I was supposed to be in Brazil this week with Tunde Baiyewu (lead singer from the Lighthouse Family). After 5 days rehearsals we got news the gig is postponed until Spring '08 so fingers crossed it will all go ahead! The set included some of the Lighthouse Family classics (Lifted, Ocean Drive, High) mixed with a few tracks off Tunde's recent solo album.

Tunde doesn't currently have a website, but Amazon have all their CD's for your listening pleasure! (I'm not affiliated, I just take large amounts of money in return, always wrapped in brown envelopes concealed behind rubbish bins in dark alleys). Honestly.

Winter 2007
Over the past year I've been been working on and off with Natasha Bedingfield but this Winter I'm lucky enough to be MD'ing for her whilst Dave Tench is covering the Take That tour. We were in Bermuda and Toronto a few weeks back and have some upcoming shows in New York which should be great fun. Her album is just being released in the States and after her first album dominated the US charts it looks hopeful her new album will follow suit.

You can visit Natasha's myspace or click the photo to view the official website, or alternatively watch the videos below...
