Sadly under normal circumstances the studio isn't available to hire without me being present, hence all prices include me as the engineer. However you are welcome to bring your own engineer and I can just oversee the session. Each catergory below includes different options to help suit your needs - please contact me if your project has unique requirements.

  • Tracking
  • £25 per hour or;
    £150 per day (8 hours)

  • Mixing
  • £25 per hour
    £150 per day (8 hours)
    Flat rate of £75 per song (upto 50 audio tracks)

    We are not a mastering house, however we can offer basic mastering for £20 per track (multiband compression / limiting etc). Please remember there is no substitute for a specialist mastering studio, but we understand that most people can't afford £900 a day mastering rates so this is the next best thing to allow your tracks to match up to professional CD's.

  • Producing
  • For most times of the year the studio is run by myself (Pete Watson) and I also work as a session musician, producer and programmer. I have worked in many styles from Pop to Jazz, Classical to Electronic. You can hear a lot of my producing work in the audio section and if you would like me to have more of a creative input into your tracks then that can be added. Fees will vary dramatically depending on the scale of the project, how much programming is required etc, but for a rough idea the following can be used as a guide:

    £25 per hour of programming
    £150 per day for programming (8 hours)
    £80 extra per day for producing your tracking session, this is on top of the £150 tracking fee mentioned at the top of the page.

  • Session Musicians
  • I have an extensive list of session musicians that I use in the studio, many of which are listed on the right side of this page for your viewing. These are musicians I have met through working with Natasha Bedingfield, Vanessa Mae, Lily Allen and through many other gigs over the years. I can recommend specific people to fit your project's needs and this will vary depending on the skills needed. The musicians will each charge different fees but as a rough guide I would say that most will be OK with £40 per hour with a £100 minimum booking (2hrs 30mins), or £250 for a full days recording. The advantage is that they will do the job quicker than most, which in turn saves you money in the studio booking time - not to mention that it will sound 10 times better!
